Vanguard began as a response to the lack of representation we saw within our local art community. What initially appeared to be a local issue became something much bigger as we traveled to different cities and connected with artists across the country. We quickly realized that talented emerging artists everywhere were searching for more opportunities to be seen, supported, and connected to a broader community.

 

Rather than simply recognizing the problem, Vanguard chose to become part of the solution.

 

Since 2016, Vanguard has grown from a local art show into a traveling cultural experience and creative platform dedicated to showcasing visual and performing artists. Our events bring together painters, photographers, sculptors, musicians, DJs, collectors, creatives, and art lovers in an environment designed to make art feel accessible, engaging, and alive.

 

At the heart of Vanguard is community. We believe artists deserve spaces where their work can be discovered, their stories can be heard, and meaningful connections can be created. By combining fine art, live music, culture, and community, we create experiences that introduce audiences to emerging talent while giving artists a platform to expand their reach.

 

What started locally continues to grow nationally and internationally, but our purpose remains the same: to create space for artists, build community, and inspire through creativity.
